Wedding Planning That Won’t Break the Bank
January 7, 2009Let’s face it we don’t all have the big bucks to spend on our weddings. Sure, we’d like to, but in reality we just can’t, therefore you are probably looking for ways that you can make your wedding spectacular without spending alot of money. Am I right? There are ways that you can pull off cheap wedding planning.
If this is the case then I bet you could use a few tips. Here are some ways to save money when it comes to planning your wedding:
Choose the time wisely. An evening wedding calls for a sit-down dinner for your guests, however with an afternoon affair you can squeak by with horedevoirs.
Limit the number of attendants. You really don’t need 20 bridesmaids and groomsmen. The more you have quite obviously the more corsages and bouquets you must provide, not to mention the thank you gifts. Limiting the number can save you some cash.
Determine what’s most important. Only you can decide this but, once you do you can then not spend as much on other areas. For instance if capturing your big day in pictures is most important to you then put more money in your photography budget than in say your food budget. It is your day and what you want is what matters.
Think small. A small intimate wedding can quite frankly be much more enjoyable than being surrounded by a lot of people who may not even be those you truly care about. No need to have everyone in the family attend just invite those you are closest to to attend.
These are only a few of the many ways that you can keep from breaking the bank when it comes to planning your wedding.
