Celebrate Your Baby’s Baptism
January 24, 2009Baptism is an important religious practice that is worthy of celebration. When your baby or child is baptized it is a joyous occasion, that should definitely be celebrated. So, it is a great idea to plan a party, tea, or dinner to celebrate this special day in the life of your child.
You will want to invite the important people in your child’s life over for a meal, or at least to celebrate with cake and drinks. Traditionally a white cake, with white icing and the child’s name or initials is served to help commemorate the day’s events.
You will want to be sure that if other children are involved that you also provide entertainment for them in the form of a movie or possibly some games to play. For that matter, everyone could join in the festivities.
You may also want to purchase a special gift for the child and even give out baptism party favors to your guests so that everyone can remember this very special day in the life of your child.
